Sea Dog
High speed survey boat
Sea Dog can be fitted with real time CTD/water sampling systems using a custom designed hydraulic CTD winch, as well as various towed or hull mounted sonars and sediment/benthic grab samplers. A unique triple engine positioning system and a custom navigation suite including redundant DGPS position allows accurate station keeping.

Jet Boat
High speed shallow water
SER's Jet boat supplements the fleet, and facilitates high speed access to shallow water areas and rivers where conventional propeller driven vessels cannot maneuver. A large high horsepower engine combined with a three-stage Hamilton water jet drive makes this vessel an excellent choice for shallow water and river projects, where propeller damage would prevent the use of a conventional vessel.
Rigid Hull Inflatables
SER’s Rigid Hull Inflatables (RHIBs) also supplement the fleet, further extending the capabilities of the RP, providing an optimal platform for marine mammal observation, intertidal sampling as well as acting as safety tender for the other larger vessels.
SER owns and operates several smaller vessels including RHIBs. These versatile vessels provide a means to combine marine, intertidal and terrestrial work, with their inshore capabilities and low impact, unobtrusive data collection.
